Unleashing Creativity: A Bag Charm Workshop by Kinaya, a GBA Batch 2 Student

As part of her Event Management practical assignment at Global Bridge Academy, Kinaya, a student from Batch 2, successfully organised an engaging bag charm workshop. This workshop was not merely a learning activity, but also a valuable experience for Kinaya to apply the theory she had learnt in real-world practice. With enthusiasm and creativity, Kinaya invited participants to experience the fun of making unique accessories to embellish their bags. However, the journey to success was not always smooth. One of the biggest challenges for Kinaya was finding the right speaker and managing the budget effectively. Furthermore, attracting participants’ interest proved to be a challenge in itself. Kinaya realised the importance of promoting the workshop to ensure at least five participants would join. By choosing a date at the start of the month, Kinaya hoped to attract more people, given that many had just received their salaries and were more keen to take part in creative activities. From this experience, Kinaya learnt a great deal about responsibility and time management. She realised that organising a workshop is not just about teaching, but also about planning and executing every detail effectively. This process taught her valuable lessons on how to design an event that is both engaging and beneficial for all participants. Overall, the bag charm workshop organised by Kinaya not only provided practical experience in event management but also created a fun learning atmosphere. With the support of her friends and instructors at Global Bridge Academy, Kinaya proved that hard work and creativity can produce something extraordinary. She is now ready to take on her next challenge in the world of event management!
