A Moment of Emotion and Pride: The Graduation of Global Bridge Academy’s Second Cohort

Global Bridge Academy successfully held the “Global Bridge Academy Batch 2 Graduation Ceremony” on Saturday, 4 July 2026. The event was attended by the students’ parents, the management team of Global Bridge Academy, as well as the mentors and teachers who had supported the students’ learning throughout Batch 2. As part of the programme, Mr Arief, President of Global Bridge Academy, announced the students’ overall results for the academic year, reflecting their achievements in completing assignments and practical work across the four core subjects: Japanese, English, Event Management and Business. The Business module itself featured different topics in each session, covering Self-Development, Tour & Travel, Pitching, and Public Speaking. The announcement of the results was a nerve-wracking moment for the students as it took place in the presence of their parents; ultimately, three students were recognised for achieving the highest marks: Nadia in first place, Shatifa in second place, and Maliki Addin in third place. In addition to the announcement of the learning outcomes, this graduation ceremony was also marked by a number of deeply moving moments, ranging from the reading of messages of gratitude and thanks from the students of Batch 2 to their mentors and teachers, to a speech by the Director of Global Bridge Academy, Kak Nona who also teaches on the Event Management course and a speech by a representative of the students’ parents. To conclude the event, the students of Batch 2 performed a dance as an expression of gratitude to all their mentors, teachers, parents and the GBA management who had supported them in their continued growth and development into better individuals. The event drew to a close with a joint rendition of the song “We Are The Bridge”, providing a meaningful finale to Batch 2’s journey.
